Who is Jasmine?
Jasmine Eldogdog is an Anglo-Egyptian costume and fashion designer working across performance, cultural storytelling, and contemporary costume practice. Her work explores the relationship between historical dress, movement, identity, and theatrical world-building through a multidisciplinary approach to fashion and performance.
Drawing from her multicultural and multi-faith background, Jasmine’s practice combines historical research, costume construction, textile experimentation, and performance direction to create emotionally charged visual narratives. Influenced by archival fashion, opera, ballet, punk aesthetics, and contemporary performance culture, her work reinterprets historical symbolism through a modern lens.
Alongside her independent design practice, Jasmine has led and produced large-scale collaborative productions including The Nutcracker Project: A Winter’s Dream, bringing together creatives across costume, dance, theatre, film, and live performance. Recent work developed through collaborations connected to the Victoria and Albert Museum explores themes of political spectacle, femininity, and transformation through costume and performance design.
Her practice continues to evolve through collaboration, live performance, and the creation of immersive visual worlds that bridge fashion, costume, and cultural narrative.
